As a former student, my interest still aims at developping myself further as both a designer in a wide range of projects, as a researcher who explores the contemporary developments with future-like possibilities on how we as architects translate our vision to something graspable. This means developing knowledge in the possibilities of the built environment, as well as how we, as architects, practice the profession in general.
In my academical period, I therefore focused on a wide range of subjects in the world of architecture & design, in which design, technical development of the design, visualization and coding alternated continuously. The practical knowledge of the Applied Sciences and the theoretical knowledge of the University of Technology, have enhanced themselves to a personal body of knowledge which can be applied to a broad spectrum of projects. From an internship at the main contractor on a building site, to being part of the ‘Grand Puzzle’ for the Marseille Manifesta European art biennial, represents the wide spectrum in which my development as a designer has evolved.
Analyzing and theoretical application, evolved in design and its technical development, have been the main thread throughout. But also my development and interest of self-made algorithms and parametric models for especially renovation projects, reflect an example of combining future oriented possibilities with contemporary practical demands for quick solutions.
