In order to respond to the changing future for architecture and the role automation will play, a fair share of my interest has focussed on the automation of processes for home renovation projects, during and especially after my studies. Algorithms and parametric models are indispensable in the rising amount of renovation projects. Houses are similair in some ways and unique in others. There are many variables within such a building, but these variables are set within a domain of fours walls and a roof. Therefore, a focus on developping these variables within this domain, allows for a targeted implementaton in an otherwise unlimited field of possibilities when translating an existing house into a digital world. This form of working and modeling can later be applied to different types of projects in different scales, such as social housing or apartment complexes.
